Brockington Hall Wedding in Savannah

Last year, I fell in love. With Forsyth Park, Spanish Moss trees, the breakfast at The Collins Quarter, and all of the charm that is Savannah, Georgia. I visited this beautiful city three times in three months, the last of which was for Kathryn & Dan's Brockington Hall wedding in the heart of Savannah. Kathryn and her girls got ready for the day at the Eliza Ann Jewett House with finishing touches at Brockington Hall before her first look with Dan. They had their ceremony at Trinity United Methodist Church and enjoyed the rest of the evening back at Brockington. A few of my favorite moments from this Savannah wedding day:

  • Even though the morning started with chilly October rain, Kathryn was so optimistic that the sun would come out...and it did! It was a warm and sunny day in Savannah not long after everyone's hair & makeup was done.
  • Kathryn's wedding was inspired by her love for the 1920, which you can see in the invitations she designed herself and the bridesmaids' sequined headbands.
  • The ballroom at Brockington Hall reminded me SO much of one of my favorite movies, Anastasia. I loved capturing Kathryn's sister help her finish getting ready in front of those big windows and mirrors.
  • Chicken and waffles for dinner. Enough said.
  • Kathryn & Dan stepped out of their reception for a few minutes for golden hour portraits and the Savannah sunset was pretty much perfect.

Huge thank you to my awesome and extremely talented friend Tori Heer for having me second shoot with her for this wedding day!
