Taylor & Kerry // Foxhall Resort Wedding

If you've never considered a Christmas themed wedding day, then this blog post might just change your mind! Taylor & Kerry's Foxhall Resort wedding was just two days before Christmas and yet it was somehow sunny and 65 degrees for their beautiful ceremony held outdoors at the Legacy Lookout. I met Taylor & Kerry in college at Georgia Tech through mutual circles of friends. If you follow my blog, then you probably recognize them from when I got to document Kerry proposing to Taylor. I think these two attract perfect weather because the day of their proposal turned from pouring rain to beautiful sunshine pretty miraculously.

Foxhall Resort Wedding Day

Kerry & Taylor are a couple that's always laughing and enjoying life. Everytime I get to photograph them, it's just so easy because they make each other crack up and smile really effortlessly. I knew Taylor would be a super easy-going (and gorgeous!) bride on her wedding day and Kerry would do a really good job and keeping that smile on her face. A few of my favorite moments from their Foxhall Resort wedding day...

*Like I already mentioned, the weather was just perfect. At some point before the ceremony, it was actually too hot! Not a bad problem to have in December. Thank you, unpredictable Atlanta weather.
*Taylor handmade pretty much every detail included in her Christmas themed wedding decor! She made all the bouquets and boutonnieres plus the table and ceremony decorations and the broom that they jumped over together after saying I do. I loved that she used her creativity to add so many personal touches to her wedding day.
*Their Legacy Lookout wedding ceremony was about 90% laughter! Like I mentioned, these two love to laugh and they brought so much joy and lightheartedness into their Foxhall Resort wedding day.
*Can we just take a moment to admire the fur shawl that Taylor pulled out for her couple's portraits?! Umm, so gorgeous and so classy. I loved it!
*Their wedding day theme was "low country Christmas" so there were Christmas lights, a tree for guests to place their gifts under, and even classic Christmas music playing during the reception. It really felt like everyone was gathered together for Christmas dinner! And the southern barbecue meal made it feel even more like we were all celebrating the holidays with family.
*Toward the end of their reception, I stole Kerry & Taylor away for just a few minutes to let them have a little alone time outside and to take some portraits lit by just the few lights outside of the venue. I love giving my couples a chance to breathe in the middle of the craziness of the reception.
