Connie // Free People Bridal Inspiration

The weather here in Atlanta is turning from unbearably hot summer to cold and cozy winter. As much as I love those warm August nights during a wedding and wearing flowy sundresses all day, every day, the transition to fall & winter has its perks too. Like wrapping up in blankets, making bonfires, and drinking multiple mugs of hot chocolate. All of which are totally welcome if you're planning a winter wedding! The cold temperatures lately have reminded me of this gorgeous shoot from earlier this year. My friend Sarah collaborated with Kari at Awaken Designer to have their vision of a carefree, boho bride come to life. We frolicked in some Georgia wheat fields and an abandoned path on a cold February afternoon. Kari crafted a stunning flower crown and a perfect bouquet to compliment the dressy yet casual off white Free People maxi for our model. Ok, maybe Connie isn't a real model, but she might as well be. She's a talented photographer and all around awesome friend.  All this golden hour goodness mixed with the burgundy florals made my photographer dreams come alive. Looks like magic, doesn't it?
